Rick Mcallister, a Vietnam combat veteran, from the VFW joins us for a meaningful speaker event honoring the history and purpose of Memorial Day. We’ll reflect on the origins of Memorial Day and its deep significance to American military veterans. Veterans are able to share powerful personal stories. The First City Honor Guard will also conduct a respectful Flag Retirement Ceremony. It’s a moving opportunity to listen, learn, honor and remember the U.S. military personnel who died in service to their country.
